SENIOR YARD, STORES & DISTRIBUTION OFFICER
INDUSTRY: BEVERAGE MANUFACTURING / FMCG
LOCATION: MWANZA
On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Senior Yard, Stores & Distribution Officer who will oversee yard, stores, inventory, and distribution operations in a high-volume beverage manufacturing environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES;
•Oversee daily yard, stores, warehouse, and distribution operations.
•Ensure accurate receiving, storage, picking, loading, and dispatch of products and materials.
•Monitor stock levels, variances, damages, losses, full products, and returnable empties.
•Coordinate timely and efficient product dispatch and distribution.
•Supervise stores, warehouse, yard, and distribution teams.
•Analyse stock movements and distribution performance.
•Investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
•Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and procedures.
•Coordinate with Production, Sales, Finance, Procurement, and Transport teams.
QUALIFICATIONS;
•Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or an equivalent field.
•Minimum 5 years' experience in beverage manufacturing or a similar high-volume FMCG environment is highly preferred.
•Proven experience managing stores, warehouse, yard, inventory, and distribution operations.
•Strong knowledge of inventory control, stock reconciliation, distribution, and warehouse operations.
•Proficiency in ERP or Warehouse Management Systems is an added advantage.
